The weakness was released 05/16/2016 by Ian Beer (lokihardt) with Google Project Zero as HT206567 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-1821 since 01/13/2016. An attack has to be approached locally. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The advisory points out:
