The ehci_process_itd function in hw/usb/hcd-ehci.c in QEMU allows local guest OS administrators to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and CPU consumption) via a circular isochronous transfer descriptor (iTD) list.
The weakness was published 05/23/2016 by Qinghao Tang (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at lists.gnu.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-8558 since 12/14/2015. The exploitation appears to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. A single authentication is needed for exploitation.
