The weakness was released 06/16/2016 as MS16-083 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2016-4128 since 04/27/2016. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 91671 (Adobe Flash Player for Mac <= Multiple Vulnerabilities (APSB16-18)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.
