A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Microsoft Edge (Web Browser) (version now known). This issue affects some unknown processing of the component Scripting Engine. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 91283 (Microsoft Edge Cumulative Security Update (MS16-119)).
Applying the patch MS16-119 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at technet.microsoft.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
