A vulnerability has been found in Jaws CMS 1.1.1 (Content Management System) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown part. The weakness was disclosed 11/17/2016 by Tim Coen with Curesec Research Team as Jaws 1.1.1: Object Injection, Open Redirect, Cookie Flags as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. The public release happened without coordination with the vendor. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1204.001.
A public exploit has been developed by Tim Coen and been published immediately after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at seclists.org. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 192 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k.
