Memory leak in the ehci_process_itd function in hw/usb/hcd-ehci.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS administrators to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of crafted buffer page select (PG) indexes.
The bug was discovered 12/09/2016. The weakness was disclosed 12/10/2016 by Li Qiang with 360.cn Inc. (Website). The advisory is shared for download at git.qemu.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-7995 since 09/09/2016. The attack needs to be approached locally. A single authentication is required for exploitation.
