eClinicalWorks Population Health (CCMR) suffers from a session fixation vulnerability. When authenticating a user, the application does not assign a new session ID, making it possible to use an existent session ID.

The bug was discovered 02/02/2016. The weakness was released 01/10/2017 as File 135533/eCl (Packetstorm). The advisory is shared for download at packetstormsecurity.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-4594 since 06/16/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
