The REPL server (--listen) in GNU Guile 2.0.12 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code via an HTTP inter-protocol attack.
The bug was discovered 10/12/2016. The weakness was disclosed 01/12/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-8606 since 10/11/2016. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
