A vulnerability has been found in ZoneMinder up to 1.30.0 (Video Surveillance Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function readfile
of the file web/views/file.php. The manipulation of the argument view
with an unknown input leads to a information disclosure vulnerability (File). The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-200. The product exposes sensitive information to an actor that is not explicitly authorized to have access to that information. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality.
The bug was discovered 02/05/2017. The weakness was presented 02/06/2017 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org.
