The bug was discovered 02/15/2017. The weakness was presented 02/22/2017 with Cisco as cisco-sa-20170215-acs3 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-3841 since 12/21/2016. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
