يوجد خطأ في تفريغ مؤشر NULL (NULL pointer dereference) داخل الدالة imagetobmp الموجودة في الملف convertbmp.c:980 من إصدار OpenJPEG 2.1.2. لم يتم تعيين قيمة للمتغير image->comps[0].data بعد تهيئته على القيمة NULL. الأثر المترتب هو حجب الخدمة (Denial of Service).
