يحتوي مكون إضافي (Plugin) الأمان Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking & Intrusion Prevention لـ WordPress على ثغرة تضمين ملف محلي (Local File Inclusion) في جميع الإصدارات حتى 18.5.9 وشاملة لها، وذلك عبر معلمة render_action_template. تتيح هذه الثغرة لمهاجم غير مصرح له (unauthenticated) تضمين وتنفيذ ملفات PHP على الخادم، مما يسمح بتنفيذ أي كود PHP موجود في تلك الملفات.
