تم تحديد ثغرة في مكتبة Open Asset Import Library Assimp الإصدار 6.0.2. تتأثر بهذه الثغرة الدالة ODDLParser::getNextSeparator الموجودة في المكتبة assimp/contrib/openddlparser/include/openddlparser/OpenDDLParserUtils.h. يؤدي هذا التلاعب إلى حدوث heap-based buffer overflow. يجب تنفيذ الهجوم محلياً. تم نشر استغلال الثغرة (Exploit) بشكل علني وقد يتم استخدامه.
