في نواة لينكس، تم حل الثغرة التالية:
mptcp: إصلاح حالة سباق (Race Condition) في دالة mptcp_schedule_work()
أبلغ syzbot عن حدوث استخدام بعد التحرير (Use-After-Free) في dالة mptcp_schedule_work() [1].
المشكلة هنا هي أن الدالة mptcp_schedule_work() تقوم بجدولة عمل، ثم تحصل على عداد مرجعي لـ sk->sk_refcnt إذا تم جدولة العمل. سيتم تحرير هذا العداد المرجعي بواسطة دالة mptcp_worker().

المشكلة هي أن dالة mptcp_worker() يمكن أن تعمل على الفور وتكتمل قبل النقطة [B].
