This password was confirmed through offline cracking of the extracted hash. Critically, the same string blinkadmin is reused across three separate security functions: the root password, the backup/restore AES encryption key, and the firmware verification string. This creates a single point of failure where knowledge of this one string compromises the entire device security posture. |
