| الوصف | A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in GPAC master (commit f1219cde, 2026-07-25). The issue occurs in the gf_url_concatenate_ex function in utils/url.c at line 313 during proto instantiation via MP4Box -info. The URL concatenation reads out of bounds (1 byte to the left of a 2-byte region) when instantiating a proto whose URL field is malformed. The call chain is: gf_url_concatenate -> gf_inline_get_proto_lib -> gf_sg_proto_instantiate. This issue is different from issue #3807. The vulnerability can be triggered with: MP4Box -info poc. PoC and ASan crash log are available in the GitHub issue report. |
