The MuPDF application loaded system DLLs using LoadLibrary without restricting the DLL search path, allowing attacker-controlled DLLs placed in user-writable download directories to be loaded instead of legitimate system libraries. This could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the MuPDF process. |
