The vulnerable argument is the POST parameter ping1. The handler copies attacker-controlled input into a fixed-size stack buffer without sufficient length validation. By sending a maliciously long ping1 value, an attacker can corrupt stack memory, causing the httpd process to crash and potentially enabling arbitrary code execution.
