The handler retrieves the attacker-controlled webAuthWhiteUserIndex parameter using websGetVar() and copies it into the 32-size stack buffer using strncpy() without length validation. Values of more characters overwrite adjacent stack memory and reliably crash the web management service. The confirmed impact is denial of service. |
