Il protocollo Remote Data Protocol (RDP) versione 5.1 in Microsoft Windows XP consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash) quando il Remote Desktop è abilitato, tramite un pacchetto dati PDU Confirm Active che non imposta il comando Pattern BLT, noto anche come "Denial of Service in Remote Desktop".
