Un errore di convalida dell'input nella libreria RPC Sun Microsystems Services for Unix 3.0 Interix SD, come implementata su Microsoft Windows NT4, 2000 e XP, consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service tramite pacchetti client RPC frammentati non validi, noto anche come "Denial of service by sending an invalid RPC request".
