Sono presenti buffer overflow in (1) circle_poly, (2) path_encode e (3) path_add (erroneamente identificato anche come path_addr) in PostgreSQL 7.2.3 e versioni precedenti, che consentono agli attaccanti di causare un denial of service ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario, potenzialmente a seguito di un integer overflow.
