Il servizio Internet Mail di Exchange Server 5.5 e Exchange 2000 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (esaurimento della memoria) connettendosi direttamente al servizio SMTP ed inviando una determinata richiesta verbale estesa, potenzialmente innescando un buffer overflow in Exchange 2000.
