Un errore di segno dell'intero (integer signedness error) nella funzione rfc2231_get_param presente in strings.c, incluso nelle versioni di PINE precedenti alla 4.58, consente agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un'email che provoca un accesso all'array fuori dai limiti utilizzando un numero negativo.
