La funzione showHelp in Internet Explorer 6 su Windows XP Pro consente agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire file .CHM locali arbitrari tramite una doppia barra rovesciata ("\\") prima del file CHM target, come dimostrato utilizzando un URL "ms-its" verso ntshared.chm. NOTA: questo bug può sovrapporsi a CVE-2003-1041.
