Un overflow del buffer basato sullo stack in WINSRV.DLL nel processo Client Server Runtime System (CSRSS) di Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP SP1 e SP2, e Windows Server 2003 consente agli utenti locali di ottenere privilegi tramite un'applicazione appositamente progettata che fornisce informazioni sulla finestra della console con un valore FaceName lungo.
