Un heap-based buffer overflow nella funzione CRpcIoManagerServer::BuildContext di msdtcprx.dll per Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) su Windows NT 4.0 e Windows 2000 SP2 e SP3 consente ad attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un quinto argomento eccessivamente lungo passato a BuildContextW o all'opcode BuildContext, che innesca un bug nella funzione NdrAllocate, nota anche come Vulnerabilità MSDTC Invalid Memory Access.
