Un heap-based buffer overflow in OpenOffice.org (noto anche come StarOffice) 1.1.x fino alla versione 1.1.5 e nelle versioni 2.0.x precedenti alla 2.0.3 consente ad attaccanti con assistenza dell'utente di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un documento XML di OpenOffice creato appositamente, che non viene gestito correttamente da (1) Calc, (2) Draw, (3) Impress, (4) Math o (5) Writer, noto anche come "File Format / Buffer Overflow Vulnerability".
