Un heap-based buffer overflow nel preprocessore DCE/RPC di Snort prima della versione 2.6.1.3 e nella serie 2.7 fino alla beta 2, nonché in Sourcefire Intrusion Sensor, consente agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite traffico SMB manipolato ad hoc.
