Il metodo Execute negli oggetti ActiveX ADODB.Connection 2.7 e 2.8 (ADODB.Connection.2.7 e ADODB.Connection.2.8) delle Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 SP3, 2.7 SP1, 2.8 e 2.8 SP1 non gestisce correttamente la memoria liberata quando il secondo argomento è un BSTR; ciò consente ad attaccanti remoti di provocare una denial of service (crash di Internet Explorer) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite determinate stringhe negli argomenti secondari e terzi.
