Il demone telnet (telnetd) in MIT krb5 precedente alla versione 1.6.1 consente agli attaccanti remoti di bypassare l'autenticazione e ottenere l'accesso al sistema tramite un nome utente che inizia con un carattere -, un problema simile a CVE-2007-0882.
