Certi binari con bit setuid di DB2 in IBM DB2 precedenti alla versione 9 Fix Pack 2 per Linux e Unix consentono agli utenti locali di sovrascrivere file arbitrari tramite un attacco symlink sul file temporaneo DB2DIAG.LOG.
