Un heap-based buffer overflow nel file hpc.c di dvips, presente nelle versioni di teTeX e TeXlive fino al 2007 incluse, consente ad attaccanti con assistenza dell'utente di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un file DVI contenente un tag href particolarmente lungo.
