Un buffer overflow in mimesr.dll presente in Autonomy (precedentemente Verity) KeyView, come utilizzato in IBM Lotus Notes prima della versione 8.0, potrebbe consentire ad attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un messaggio e-mail contenente un allegato Text mail (MIME) manipolato ad hoc, con l'assistenza dell'utente.
