Un heap-based buffer overflow nella funzione decodeMP4file (frontend/main.c) di FAAD2 2.6.1 e versioni precedenti consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un file MPEG-4 (MP4) manipolato ad hoc.
