Un errore di integer overflow nell'utilità di decompressione dei file JAR (unpack200) presente nella libreria unpack (unpack.dll) del Java Runtime Environment (JRE), per Sun JDK e JRE 6 Update 10 e versioni precedenti, nonché per JDK e JRE 5.0 Update 16 e versioni precedenti, consente ad applicazioni e applet non attendibili di ottenere privilegi tramite un file JAR compresso Pack200 che innesca un heap-based buffer overflow.
