Microsoft Windows Media Runtime, come utilizzato in DirectShow WMA Voice Codec, Windows Media Audio Voice Decoder e Audio Compression Manager (ACM), non elabora correttamente i file Advanced Systems Format (ASF), consentendo ad attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un file audio manipolato che utilizza il codec Windows Media Speech, noto anche come "Windows Media Runtime Voice Sample Rate Vulnerability".
