Un errore off-by-one nella funzione packet_read_query_section di packet.c in nsd 3.2.1 e process_query_section in query.c in nsd 2.3.7 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite vettori non specificati che innescano un buffer overflow.
