La funzione RAND scalar nel componente Common Code Infrastructure di IBM DB2 9.5 prima della FP5 e 9.7 prima della FP1, quando viene utilizzata la Database Partitioning Feature (DPF), restituisce valori "ripetuti", il che potrebbe consentire agli attaccanti di eludere i meccanismi di protezione basati sulla randomizzazione prevedendo un valore.
