Un buffer overflow nel file programs/pluto/xauth.c del client in Openswan dalle versioni 2.6.26 alla 2.6.28 potrebbe consentire ai gateway remoti autenticati di eseguire codice arbitrario o causare un denial of service tramite un campo cisco_banner (noto anche come server_banner) particolarmente lungo.
