Il server ISC DHCP nelle versioni 4.0 precedenti alla 4.0.2, nella versione 4.1 precedente alla 4.1.2 e nella versione 4.2 precedente alla 4.2.0-P1 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (NULL pointer dereference e crash) tramite un pacchetto DHCPv6 contenente un messaggio Relay-Forward privo di indirizzo nel campo link-address del Relay-Forward.
