La funzione udp_queue_rcv_skb in net/ipv4/udp.c in una certa build di Red Hat del kernel Linux 2.6.18 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 consente agli attaccanti di causare un denial of service (deadlock e blocco del sistema) inviando traffico UDP a un socket che ha un filtro socket manipolato ad hoc, un problema correlato alla CVE-2010-4158.
