Un overflow del buffer basato sullo stack nella funzione hpmud_get_pml in io/hpmud/pml.c di Hewlett-Packard Linux Imaging and Printing (HPLIP) versioni 1.6.7, 3.9.8, 3.10.9 e probabilmente altre consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite una risposta SNMP manipolata con un valore di lunghezza elevato.
