Un overflow del buffer nello stack nella funzione RtlQueryRegistryValues di win32k.sys in Microsoft Windows XP SP2 e SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP1 e SP2, Windows Server 2008 Gold, SP2 e R2, e Windows 7 consente agli utenti locali di ottenere privilegi ed eludere la funzione User Account Control (UAC) tramite un valore REG_BINARY manipolato ad hoc per una chiave del registro SystemDefaultEUDCFont, noto anche come "Driver Improper Interaction with Windows Kernel Vulnerability".
