Il Key Distribution Center (KDC) in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) versioni dalla 1.6.x alla 1.9, quando viene utilizzato un backend LDAP, consente ad attaccanti remoti di causare una denial of service (NULL pointer dereference o buffer over-read e crash del demone) tramite un nome principal manipolato ad hoc.
