RealNetworks RealPlayer dalle versioni 11.0 alla 11.1, SP dalla versione 1.0 alla 1.1.5 e dalla 14.0.0 alla 14.0.1, nonché Enterprise dalle versioni 2.0 alla 2.1.4, utilizza nomi prevedibili per i file temporanei, consentendo agli attaccanti remoti di condurre attacchi cross-domain scripting ed eseguire codice arbitrario tramite la funzione OpenURLinPlayerBrowser.
