La funzione process_tgs_req in do_tgs_req.c nel Key Distribution Center (KDC) di MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5), versioni dalla 1.9 alla 1.9.2, consente agli utenti remoti autenticati di causare un denial of service (dereferenziazione di puntatore NULL e crash del demone) tramite una richiesta TGS manipolata ad hoc che innesca un errore diverso dall'errore KRB5_KDB_NOENTRY.
