La funzione virtio_queue_notify in qemu-kvm 0.14.0 e versioni precedenti non convalida correttamente il numero di virtqueue, consentendo agli utenti guest di causare un denial of service (crash del guest) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un numero negativo nel campo Queue Notify dell'intestazione Virtio, che aggira un confronto firmato.
