Una certa patch di Red Hat per la funzione vlan_hwaccel_do_receive in net/8021q/vlan_core.c del kernel Linux 2.6.32 su Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash del sistema) tramite frame VLAN con tag di priorità.
