Il wrapper di X.Org (xserver-wrapper.c) in Debian GNU/Linux e Ubuntu Linux non verifica correttamente il terminale (TTY) dell'utente che avvia l'ambiente grafico X, consentendo agli utenti locali di eludere le restrizioni d'accesso previste associando lo standard input (stdin) a un file interpretato erroneamente come TTY della console.
